After 11 years inside the Octagon, UFC fighter “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine has switched things up and opened his own studio, Hot Yoga Infusion in Albuquerque, NM. This first-of-its-kind facility combines hot yoga with TRX Training.

As a TRX instructor, Jardine uses functional training methods like TRX Suspension Training and TRX Rip Training to show his clients how to take better care of their bodies--something he says he didn’t do right during his MMA career.

“TRX involves more functional movements that lead to stronger joints, stronger muscles, a stronger core and fewer injuries. I am excited to be back in the fitness industry and to share this technology with everyone,” says Jardine.

Hot Yoga Infusion’s schedule features TRX Suspension Training classes every day. Recently, the inventor of the TRX Rip Trainer, Pete Holman, led a Rip Training Course hosted at Jardine’s facility. They’ve since incorporated Rip Training into their programs to help members increase rotational strength, power and mobility.

In this video, Jardine takes Holman through his favorite Rip Training move, the Rip Pitchfork. Jardine says he likes this move because it reminds him of digging ditches with his father growing up.
