Why They Use TRX

Mobility training enhances your performance the same way brushing your teeth enhances your dental hygiene. Brushing your teeth daily doesn’t take much time or effort and pays a huge dividend by keeping your choppers healthy and you out of the dentist’s chair. Working on your mobility daily will help you develop and maintain a full functional range of motion. TRX Training and TRX Training tools like the Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer make developing your mobility, stability, flexibility, and balance as simple as brushing your teeth.

What’s a full functional range of motion? Let’s drop the toothbrush, shift metaphors and talk about cars. If the engine in your car wasn’t bolted to the frame, two of the tires weren’t inflated properly, the brakes were partially engaged at all times, and the steering wheel could only turn through an 1/8th of its radius, how well do you think your car would drive?

Your body is the same way. When you’re imbalanced, inflexible, and immobile, you’re not going to perform close to your best. Cultivating appropriate levels of mobility, stability, balance, and flexibility assure that you can use your full functional range of motion and achieve your best.

Stability and mobility are interdependent qualities. Your specific genetics and what you’re training for will in part dictate where you need to develop stability and mobility and to what degree.

Developing optimal levels of stability and mobility for your body will help you best utilize your endurance, strength, power, speed, and agility and keeps you durable so you can go longer with fewer problems during your lifetime.

TRX Training tools also allow you to easily and simply train unilaterally. This enables you to use TRX Training tools to diagnose asymmetries or imbalances in your body either front to back or side to side and then correct them using the same tools.

Ideal Preparation

  • Infinitely Scalable—Whatever your fitness level, TRX Training tools give you the ability to infinitely regress or progress mobility and stability challenges.
  • Portable—With TRX Training tools you’ll never miss a workout again because you can always take your TRX Suspension Trainer or TRX Rip Trainer with you wherever you go.
  • Targeted Loading—The TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer enable you to effectively target and load one area of the body in order to more deeply mobilize another area of the body.
  • Diagnose and Correct—The TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer give you the ability to easily train unilaterally. Unilateral movements can be used for building strength and power, but they can also be regressed to discover and diagnose bilateral and front-to-back asymmetries. Then you can use the same tools coupled with appropriate TRX exercise programming to effectively address and correct those imbalances.
