Strength and Conditioning Coach Todd Durkin originally developed this challenge for Superbowl MVP Drew Brees. This challenge works both as a benchmark and as a standalone workout for anyone trying to break a sweat in a time crunch.
To execute the TRX Game Gay Challenge perform these TRX exercises as follows:
TRX Sprinter Start Right Leg: 30 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
TRX Sprinter Starts Left Leg: 30 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
Rest 30 sec.
TRX Power Pull Right Arm: 20 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
TRX Power Pull Left Arm: 20 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
Rest 30 sec.
TRX Incline Press Right Leg: 10 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
TRX Incline Press Left Leg: 10 reps is the target.
If you can’t reach that goal, perform as many reps as possible.
The goal of the TRX Game Day Challenge is to execute every rep of each exercise with perfect form. Remember, master each movement first, and only then increase intensity.
