This eight-hour course teaches Rip Training fundamentals and beyond. Learn to progress and regress Rip Training movements for clients of all levels. Participants also learn how to use the Rip Trainer to deliver a dynamic total-body workout so they can integrate it into client training programs.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Correctly set up and use the Rip Trainer, in various environments
- Use the Rip Trainer to get a dynamic total body workout
- Safely and effectively instruct others on the Rip Trainer
- Clearly articulate the science and benefits behind Rip Training
PREREQUISITES: There are no prerequisites to take this TRX Professional Education Course. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) will only be applied to certified fitness professionals.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CECS) AND COURSE QUALIFICATION:
Upon completion of a TRX Rip Training Course, you will be a TRX Qualified Trainer. You will receive an electronic version of your TRX Qualification, which can be printed for your records and redeemed for CECs. The provider number and number of credits can be found on your Qualification and redeemed on the provider’s website.
RTC Graduates will receive CECs from the following organizations: ACE 0.8, AFAA 7.0, NSCA 0.8, Canfitpro 4.0, Fitness Australia 7.0, NASM 0.8, PTA Global 7.0, and SkillsActive REPS 8.0

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Course registration fees are non-refundable. Should TRX cancel the course, for any reason, registrants will receive a complete refund. Requests to change registration from one course to another must be made to TRX by email at email@example.com at least 14 days before the course date. Requests made less than 14 days before the course dates are subject to a $100.00 rescheduling fee. Registrants may transfer their course registration to someone else for a $50.00 fee.
All Registrants must successfully complete the course in order to receive a course Qualification or continuing education credits (CECs). Any registrant missing 90 minutes or more of the course will be ineligible to receive a Qual and CECs. No refunds or credits, whether partial or whole, will be provided to any such registrant.

For me, the Rip Trainer has become a go-to tool to both stabilize deconditioned clients and build explosive power with more advanced athletes. It is an awkward tool to learn at first, which is why this course is so helpful. The TRX Instructor (Pete Holman) did an outstanding job demystifying this deceptively simple device. Don't let the Rip Trainer deceive you with it's apparently benign appearance. The Rip Trainer, in the right hands, can deliver exactly what is needed for all levels of athletic performance, and then some.
Upon first glance, I couldn't help but think the Rip Trainer was a bit too simple... I wasn't impressed with it at all. However, I had been here before in March 2007 when I was first introduced to the TRX Suspension Trainer and after completing the Rip Trainer Course, I found myself right back where I was after I took my first STC; At a point where my third eye started to open. The education in presented in the Rip Trainer Course is unique to itself and provides a layman friendly approach to the science based knowledge of what it means to move. More advanced trainers and practitioners will appreciate the practicality and functional application that the Rip Trainer embodies. In short, if you plan on using the Rip Trainer, I would take this course. Come with an open mind and I promise that you'll leave satiated with knowledge and hopefully a third eye ;)
I was looking forward to this cert because, to tell you the truth, it this was such a new piece of equipment that I had a limited bag of tricks, so to say. This course light me up with a whole new pandora's box of what I could use this thing for. Pete Holman, the creator has a physical therapy background, so I was thrilled with all the solid information. I learned exactly which muscles we were working in each movement, how to cue it, keep it safe, and really Rock someone on a Super Fun piece that EveryoneLoves. This is by far the best time I have spent furthering my bag of tricks.
This was a phenomenal course. The science behind the RIP is sound and the application encompasses all levels of users for any goals, thanks to the in-depth review of modifications and progressions of the exercise library. Having a chance to go through the workout really gave me the kinesthetic awareness I need to understand the cause and affect the RIP trainer will have on my clients.
