Rip Training Course

This eight-hour course teaches Rip Training fundamentals and beyond. Learn to progress and regress Rip Training movements for clients of all levels. Participants also learn how to use the Rip Trainer to deliver a dynamic total-body workout so they can integrate it into client training programs.



Upon completion of this course you will be able to:



  • Correctly set up and use the Rip Trainer, in various environments
  • Use the Rip Trainer to get a dynamic total body workout
  • Safely and effectively instruct others on the Rip Trainer
  • Clearly articulate the science and benefits behind Rip Training

PREREQUISITES: There are no prerequisites to take this TRX Professional Education Course. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) will only be applied to certified fitness professionals.

Upon completion of a TRX Rip Training Course, you will be a TRX Qualified Trainer. You will receive an electronic version of your TRX Qualification, which can be printed for your records and redeemed for CECs. The provider number and number of credits can be found on your Qualification and redeemed on the provider’s website.

RTC Graduates will receive CECs from the following organizations: ACE 0.8, AFAA 7.0, NSCA 0.7, Canfitpro 4.0, Fitness Australia 7.0, NASM 0.8, PTA Global 7.0, and SkillsActive REPS 8.0

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Course registration fees are non-refundable. Should TRX cancel the course, for any reason, registrants will receive a complete refund. Requests to change registration from one course to another must be made to TRX by email at at least 14 days before the course date. Requests made less than 14 days before the course dates are subject to a $100.00 rescheduling fee. Registrants may transfer their course registration to someone else for a $50.00 fee.


All Registrants must successfully complete the course in order to receive a course Qualification or continuing education credits (CECs). Any registrant missing 90 minutes or more of the course will be ineligible to receive a Qual and CECs. No refunds or credits, whether partial or whole, will be provided to any such registrant.

This course and equipment will be a great addition to my toolbox as a trainer and TRX Group Fitness Instructor.

Excellent course teaching fundamentals and proper usage of the TRX RIP Trainer (RT). All courses are grounded in the foundational principles of proper alignment, form, technique, and proximal stability before distal mobility. The RT is an excellent complement to the TRX Suspension Trainer (ST). In general, the RT focuses on asymmetrical loading, rotational power, accuracy, and metabolic fatigue. The ST focuses on symmetrical loading, instability, balance, coordination, and ROM. Of course, this is in general, as aspects of both RT & ST can certainly be applied to each other. In summary, the key here is "rotational power", which all sports demand.

The Rip Trainer Course was amazing. I got a new perspective on training and a new tool to enhance my athletes performance. Thanks TRX.

The TRX RIP TRAINER COURSE was a great course. Learning and Understanding how valuable rotational training can be to the core. Our core is the foundation for just about every movement. Our instructor explained each movement and zones. Helping us make any adjustments necessary to ensure we used proper form. In turn gave us the tools to queue and instruct others as a coach. I am excited to use my teaching and this TRX RIP Trainer as a tool in my facility. Great Course and would highly recommend it for your educational journey
