People often think of TRX primarily as a product company, and secondarily as a training company. On the contrary, we think of ourselves as the opposite. The nucleus of our brand and business has always been education, human performance, and an overall philosophy based around movement. When we deliver our courses around the globe, we spend the bulk of our time focusing on human movement, coaching, and engagement. Our goal is to utilize our amazing products (like the TRX Suspension Trainer)  as a vehicle to connect with individuals on a personal and emotional level - the core of being a great coach. After all, what good are great products and ideas without a method of smart implementation to bring them to life?

The TRX Summits have evolved into what they are today because of the people that have chosen to interact with us as customers, educators, trainers and coaches. Folks like you. Our contagiously awesome culture is dictated by all of you who believe in this movement around movement. Fortunately for me and my team, we are lucky enough to be able to curate the science, best practices, history, processes, and communication that resonates with the TRX community.

The TRX Suspension Trainer sets up  the perfect environment to learn and coach movement, and then to add intensity and volume to meet all goals. Our educational philosophy based on Foundational Movement standards has been developed and refined over thousands of training and education hours. The addition of TRX Programming Lenses makes designing effective workouts and programs easy and scalable. Creating a compelling experience for yourself, your clients, members, or team is the result of your mix of resources, processes, and values. For over a decade we have been refining our approach to Movement-Based training to make it actionable and practical for everyone, be it elite athletes, people returning to exercise after an injury or illness, first timers, and everything in-between. Bottom line, TRX training is effective no matter the stage of your fitness journey.

At TRX we believe “movement” is the foundation of health, fitness, performance, durability, and reaching your fitness goals. But more importantly, we believe a regular movement practice, no matter what it is, becomes your opportunity to work on discipline, manage discomfort, connect with yourself mentally and physically, and use these traits to become more adaptable and successful in other parts of your life. It is the transferability of physical, mental, and emotional skills practiced during exercise and training that makes it “functional.”

Enter the TRX Training Summit. This pivotal event is our greatest opportunity to share experiences, hypothesis, findings, research, etc around our Movement-Based training philosophy. Beyond that, the energy at this event pushes you to learn more, do more, and ultimately get better in every way.

TRX TRAINING SUMMIT CONTENT:
A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT WE’LL BE COVERING

TRX: A MOVEMENT-BASED TRAINING COMPANY
Training and coaching “movement” should now be a staple for any competent fitness professional. In many ways, TRX (both the product and the education) was at the forefront of this movement around movement.  Learn more about where the future of movement-based training is going and take a deep dive into the what, how, and why behind TRX training and education.

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HITT)
TRX puts a stake in the ground on the good, bad, and ugly aspects of this wildly popular training approach. Effective high intensity interval training is built on strong focused movements and intelligent programming. We’ll cover some dos and don’ts, and most importantly the evidence and rationale behind designing and delivering solid HITT sessions.

CREATING A CULTURE
The subject of “creating a culture” can be elusive, and ironically over-analyzed yet not well explained. We will be sharing our best practices for cultivating an environment that’s conducive to achieving this in your home communities. We will cover what has worked well for TRX in various training settings (ie. one-on-one, small group, large group, and team sports).

WHAT PREVIOUS TRX SUMMIT ATTENDEES HAD TO SAY:

I just have to say this was so worth it! You get to the meet the folks behind the scenes that make this company the leading in the fitness industry. You're going to learn about the body mechanics and how it interacts when using the Suspension and Rip Trainers. You're going to find out how to get noticed and promote yourself and much much more. WAY TO GO TRX!
-Kyle Ciminski

You can't go wrong going to this event. You meet the best of TRX and learn from them face-to-face, showing you proper methods of application for your clients. Not only that, I got to meet tons of TRXers, not only from all over the US, but also from all corners of the world. Every perspective was at play. It was also hilarious seeing the history of mistakes that happened in Randy Hetrick's dinner speech. Overall, its just a fun time with great people and awesome products that are changing the fitness world and beyond.
-Ian Vaughn
