After stints with two NFL teams, an Arena League team and an NFL Europe team, Jesse Boone returned for his second season as the starting center for the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League. But there was no R&R in his offseason: Jesse spent it rehabbing a shoulder injury he sustained during action last year.
To ensure he was back on the field as quickly as possible, Jesse headed to Presidio Sport & Medicine in San Francisco, a facility that prides itself on its goal-oriented, individualized approach to rehab and conditioning. They have recently started integrating the TRX into their athletes’ rehabilitative programs, and as Jesse will tell you, the results speak for themselves.
In the video, Jesse talks about his injury and subsequent recovery using the TRX to perform traditional exercises like the TRX Shoulder Series, TRX Chest Presses as well as TRX Low Rows for increased strength and endurance. As he progressed, he added TRX Planks and TRX Reverse Crunches as a way to further challenge his core and integrate closed chain dynamic shoulder stabilization exercises.
Now on the mend, Jesse keeps a TRX in his suitcase for away games with the LV Locos, and he relies on TRX Suspension Training to keep him injury free and performing his best.
