Focusing on your health and wellness is a lifelong goal that we should all aspire to, but for some people, this focus falls by the wayside during their senior years. You may have aches and pains or other ailments that are challenging, and you assume they’re just a normal part of aging. This shouldn’t hold you back! On top of this, your oral health is connected to everything from digestion to heart health, and it even impacts your mental well-being. In fact, depression is commonly linked to poor dental health. When you think about all the ways you can improve your mental and physical health, regular visits to the dentist should be a key part of it. Seniors who are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans may even have dental coverage. This is an amazing benefit that you’re already paying for, so don’t let it go unused.

Of course, it’s also important to keep up with general wellness checkups, especially if you have any health conditions that need to be monitored.
