Coming to terms with the fact that you are going to become a mother and shepherd life into this world brings with it a bag of mixed emotions; joy, pride, and even fear, just to name a few. Having always been very active and in very good shape, my initial worry was about losing my athletic figure post birth. Many a night was spent doing research on exercise regimes and products that expeditiously help women restore their post-delivery bodies. However, I knew I had to go to the one of the people I could absolutely trust to get advice with something this important. So I consulted my very close friend Sekh, and he asked me what I wanted out of my training regimen. I responded with “To be in fantastic shape as soon as possible after birth!” The response that followed made me realize I had it totally wrong.

He said “You should want to train so you can be the best mother you can possibly be to this child and any others you may have.” And he was right. I needed to stop worrying about aesthetics and focus on safely ensuring my body was an apt vessel equipped to carry life for nine months with no complications, and to survive the challenges of actual delivery. After giving birth, I wanted to quickly recover and be healthy enough to enjoy motherhood, raise my offspring and see them grow and flourish for many years to come.
With these clear goals in mind, Sekh introduced me to TRX and it changed my life! I instantly fell in love.
TRX played a key role in ensuring that I had an uncomplicated, healthy and safe pregnancy. Carrying life in me was not burdensome, and I had little to no body pain or issues common in many during pregnancy. I also never felt stronger and more confident both during and after giving birth. During my regular visits to my doctor every trimester he told me, "Whatever physical activity you are doing please keep doing it.” Without TRX I may not have been able to safely bring a healthy baby girl into this world.

I absolutely love how user friendly and scalable the device is. Whether autonomously or under supervision, I readily have the ability to adapt exercises and implement variations that make me feel absolutely safe while administering the "maximum burn." I was even able to get my husband hooked and he loves it even more than I do. It also works perfectly for him given that he travels for work. So no matter where he is, he gets his workout in seeing that he never leaves home without it. As soon as my newborn is of age, we will be all doing our Pikes together!
3 months after welcoming my daughter Claire into the world, I am in the best shape of my life and I have never felt happier, stronger, healthier and more confident. TRX continues to play a key role in me staying focused on being the best mother I can be! In addition, TRX has brought us closer together given that we all have a new common love for TRX and fitness in general!
