Born in the Navy SEALs and used in every branch of the US Military, the Marine Corps recently incorporated TRX into its new High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program. Designed to deliver combat-level fitness and increase durability during the various phases of a Marine’s deployment cycle, this comprehensive program implements cutting-edge training methods like TRX and fundamental scientific principles that enhance athleticism in today’s warrior athlete.

The HITT program prepares Marines for three distinct phases: Pre-deployment, deployment and post-deployment. Every training session features about a dozen different TRX exercises geared to prevent injury and improve strength, power, core stability and flexibility. The program also utilizes workout modalities such as kettlebells, Olympic lifts, bodyweight exercises and battle ropes and focuses on increasing endurance, speed and agility--all geared to get Marines combat fit and combat ready.
