Complete a 500m run — outdoors or on a self-powered treadmill.
Partners must stay together.

ATOMIC PUSH-UPS
DETAILS
Chest must touch yoga block; knees must reach waist on the crunch.
Scaled: Knee push-up → plank → crunch.
Doubles: 50 reps
Solo: 25 reps

SLAM BALL BROAD JUMPS
DETAILS
Slam at edge of 24” mat → jump over → shuffle/ jump back → repeat.
Women: 10 lbs
Men's: 20 lbs.

POWER BAG PLANK DRAGS
DETAILS
Drag bag across yellow line in a plank position, alternating sides.
Must fully clear line each rep.

YBELL ALTERNATING REVERSE LUNGES

Use two YBells, outside grip.
YBells cannot touch the ground at any time.

How many reps at each station?
Solo: 25 Atomic Push-Ups | 50 Reps for Stations 3-10
Duo: 50 Atomic Push-Ups | 100 Reps for Stations 3-10
How do I check results after the race?
All results are posted to the Ignite Results Directory on TRX Training's website. Head there after your event to find your final time, standings, and how you stacked up against others in your division.

Is there a solo option or is it only partner-based?
Both options exist! The Duo division is partner-based with an "I go, you go" format. If you'd prefer to race alone, the Solo division uses slightly adjusted rep counts and distances — 50 reps per station (25 for Atomic Push-Ups), a 500m run, and a 1km row.
What fitness level do I need to compete?
Ignite Games is designed to be completed by athletes ages 16–70+ at all fitness levels. Every station has scaled options — for example, Atomic Push-Ups can be done from the knees, in a plank hold, or as a standard push-up. The goal is to finish, improve, and come back faster next time.
What equipment do I need to bring?
None — all provided
How long does the event take?
35–45 min race + check-in/warmup
Are there age divisions?
Age divisions are on the roadmap as the event series grows. For now, athletes are grouped by division (Solo, Doubles — Men's, Women's, or Mixed) and compete against others in the same category on the leaderboard.
How does the leaderboard work?
Results are tracked live via TRX during the event. As athletes finish, times are logged and the leaderboard updates in real time — so you can see where you stand while the event is still running. Scores feed into a global leaderboard connecting your club to the broader Ignite Games community.
Can I sign up without a partner?
Absolutely. You can register as a solo athlete through Sweatpals and compete in the Solo division. If you'd like to race with a partner, registration is handled as a team on Sweatpals — you'll create or join a team during the signup flow.
What should I wear / do I need special gear?
Standard workout gear works great — supportive training shoes, moisture-wicking clothing, and anything you'd wear to a high-energy gym class. No special footwear or compression gear is required. The race involves running, rowing, carrying, and floor movements, so comfort and mobility are the priority.
Is there a warmup or briefing before the race?
Yes — there's a check-in window followed by a group warmup and station briefing before Wave 1 begins. The briefing walks you through each station's movement standards so you know exactly what to expect.
How do I register?
Registration is handled through Sweatpals.
