Expand your marketability and master small group training coaching techniques in this hands-on eight-hour course. Building on the foundational Suspension Training knowledge introduced in your Level 1 course, you will develop TRX TEAM® coaching skills to effectively lead small group training programs in any setting.
You will learn how to lead and modify three small group Suspension Training workouts that can be used in any boot camp or personal training program, including: a strength-based workout; a high-intensity interval workout; and a mind-body workout combining flexibility, mobility and yoga-inspired movements.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Effectively lead three new TRX TEAM small group training workouts
- Modify workouts using TRX TEAM Soft Skills, which will enable you to facilitate groups of any size
- Properly integrate TRX TEAM Hard Skills, to apply your Suspension Training knowledge and cueing techniques into small group training formats
PREREQUISITES: In order to register for this Level 2 course, it’s required that you have previously taken a Suspension Training Course (STC), a Group Suspension Training Course (GSTC), FORCE Operator Course, or Sports Medicine Suspension Training Course (SMSTC). You will be asked to demonstrate elements of TRX basic use, anchoring and principles in the course. It is required that you have at least 20 hours of practical work on the TRX Suspension Trainer before you attend this course.
PREWORK AND POSTWORK:
TRX TEAM curriculum is a three-part training program composed of two online modules and one live 8-hour course. Participants will receive the course pre-work 5 days before the course. Upon successful completion of the entire curriculum, participants will receive Continuing Education Credits (CECs) and a Level 2 TRX Qualification.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CECS) AND COURSE QUALIFICATION:
Upon completion of a TRX TEAM Course, you will receive an electronic version of your TRX Qualification, which can be printed for your records and redeemed for CECs. The provider number and number of credits can be found on your Qualification and redeemed on the provider’s website.
TRX TEAM Education Graduates will receive CECs from the following organizations: ACE 0.8, NASM 0.7, AFAA 6.0, NSCA 0.7, canfitpro 4.0, PTA Global 8.0, SkillsActive REPS 12, (ACSM accepts ACE CECs)
You will receive an invitation to take the pre-work 5 days before the course. You will receive a TRX TEAM Manual on the day of the course.
